41 Dorsey Lane is the first community garden planted by Freedom Farmers. We call this our “main” garden because it’s the one that has gotten the most work.

June 11, 2025: A report from Celeste.
“Good Morning! TODAY @ Dorsey Gardens: Tomatoes showed signs of blight (I removed it), Eggplants were lost to fleas (I will sow more) Need the sand for their new bed. Need strong backs to prepare that bed. Cukes have bugs. Pest Control was started today and will need to be done every Wednesday from now on. AND we have a chip drop coming TODAY!! (I believe we have IAN to thank for that!) We are doing great and growing strong!”
